Angela grew up in the West and her artistic vision and interest were formed in the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains.

Earlier in her career, she developed her visual style and technique as a successful professional videographer and editor with a deep understanding of both the art and technology of image making.

Excited by the possibilities of digital still photography, Angela migrated exclusively to the still form but retains the videographers eye for seeing a story.

Her intuitive feel for landscape forms and textures and her deep study of the thinking and behavior of animals, both predator and prey, contribute to a body of work that convey a sense of place and a sense of purpose and, of course, a story.

Angela lives in NY and Connecticut where the Litchfield Hills provide a backdrop.

Her latest work is based on the spectacular landscape and wildlife of the African savannah.

Working with Matt at Hidden Light to combine the precision and resolution of digital photography with the artistry and depth of feeling of platinum printing has taken her work to a new level.
